Understanding your requirements right from the start
When
it comes to planning your bedroom, living room or study we need to get a feel for
the type of style, finish and budget you have in mind. An elegant master bedroom
will have a completely different requirement to a childs room. We can
then use all of the resources available in the showroom to help you convert
your ideas into reality. We do not feel the need for a lengthy home visit by
a salesman. In our experience this creates unnecessary pressure, with a cost
that you the customer ultimately has to bear!
Surveying the site for problem-free fitting
Home visits can be arranged, free of charge and without obligation. After your bedroom, study or living room has been surveyed we can then produce designs on our computerised design facility and post these to you, together with a detailed written estimate.
The purpose of the site survey is to ensure that your furniture can be fitted on time and within budget. This will include gaining access to the premises, removing old furniture where necessary, arranging delivery of materials, protecting soft furnishings and overcoming any unexpected issues.
Confirming your final quotation
We aim to make sure that your final quotation comes as no great surprise! Our open approach to the costing of your project means that you are in control of the budget at all times. Your final quotation is a combination of the materials used in the manufacturing and installation process. We accept payment by cash, cheque, credit card and can also arrange 0% finance if required.
Manufacturing your fitted furniture
Wharfedale Fitted Furniture is manufactured in our own Ilkley workshop to meet the individual needs of each and every customer. No two jobs are ever the same, so we’ve invested heavily over the years in state-of-the-art equipment operated by a skilled workforce to ensure we can respond to the individual requirements of every project. The direct management of our own production process means that we are able to maintain high levels of quality control whilst managing every project from design through to completion within a flexible and cost-effective working environment.
Installing your furniture
All of our time-served installers are experienced in fitting the complete range of materials from hand-painted finishes, pierced laminates and mitre frames to wrapped vinyl and solid wood. The larger and more complex projects require considerable planning and supervision to ensure the right people and materials are in the right place at the right time.
